Thorens


Thorens is a renowned Swiss manufacturer of authentically high-end turntables. Founded in 1883 by Hermann Thorens, the company originally produced Edison-type phonographs. In 1928, they developed the world's very first direct drive for gramophones, followed by the moving magnet cartridge in 1929, and the record changer in 1943. 

Nowadays, Thorens have expanded their range to include digital components. Over the years, they have developed a wealth of experience in the sound reproduction industry, and continue to push the boundaries in producing high-quality audio equipment, perfect for all kinds of analogue enthusiasts.
