Tribute to Ken Ishiwata

The A11 Tribute is a Class AB 50W (8 ohms) integrated amplifier developed in cooperation with audio legend Ken Ishiwata, honoring his 40+ year legacy in the industry. This collaboration elevates the acclaimed A11 series with a design that reflects Ishiwata-san’s passion for high-fidelity audio.

Enhanced Performance and Connectivity

Rotel’s engineering team, together with Ken Ishiwata, upgraded critical components and meticulously tuned all circuits to deliver a richer, more expressive, and true-to-life sound. The amplifier supports a wide range of inputs, including aptX and AAC Bluetooth, four RCA analog inputs, and a Moving Magnet Phono stage for vinyl enthusiasts.

Upgraded Signal Path Components

Specially selected components improve performance throughout the signal path. In the amplifier stage, all 10 capacitors and two resistors were upgraded. The preamp stage saw six capacitor upgrades, representing over 50% of the components in the signal path, while all six capacitors in the volume stage were also enhanced.

Mechanical Improvements for Acoustic Purity

Custom damping materials were added to the mechanical chassis to reduce ringing, isolate vibrations, and further enhance the amplifier’s stability. These measures contribute to a cleaner, more precise acoustic performance under all loading conditions, even with demanding speakers.

Intuitive Control and Power Supply

The front panel features a graphic display and, along with the included IR remote, ensures effortless control. Audio is powered by a Rotel in-house manufactured oversized toroidal transformer, providing authority and precision across the amplifier’s dynamic range.
