A Legacy of Exceptional Sound
The Ruark Talisman-R Floorstanding Speakers celebrate the return of one of Ruark's most iconic loudspeaker designs. First introduced in 1990, the original Talisman helped establish Ruark's reputation for combining outstanding audio performance with distinctive styling. The modern Talisman-R builds on this heritage with refined acoustics, advanced engineering and timeless design.
Natural, Pure Sound
Featuring a high-quality two-way bass reflex design, the Talisman-R delivers a natural, detailed and engaging listening experience. Carefully selected driver materials and precision-engineered components produce a lifelike stereo soundstage with excellent clarity, balance and musical depth.
Precision-Engineered Drivers
Each Talisman-R features a custom-designed 165mm long-throw treated fibre NS+ woofer and a 27mm silk dome tweeter. This combination delivers controlled, articulate bass, natural midrange reproduction and smooth, detailed high frequencies for an immersive listening experience across all music genres.
Optimised Crossover Design
A carefully engineered crossover ensures seamless integration between the woofer and tweeter, with particular attention to phase alignment and tonal accuracy. Premium audio-grade capacitors, resistors and low-loss inductors help minimise distortion and preserve signal integrity for clean, accurate sound reproduction.
Advanced Cabinet Engineering
The Talisman-R incorporates a sophisticated decoupled front baffle design, using elastomer bushes and dual damping strips to reduce vibration transfer from the drivers into the main enclosure. Internal bracing and specialised acoustic damping further minimise cabinet resonance and standing waves, delivering exceptionally low colouration and a more natural sound.
Elegant Design & Premium Construction
Designed to look as impressive as they sound, the Talisman-R speakers feature a distinctive cabinet profile that combines visual elegance with structural stability. A solid steel machined plinth lowers the centre of gravity while creating an attractive floating appearance, making these speakers a striking addition to any listening space.
Stable & Flexible Installation
Each speaker features a substantial steel base with adjustable rubber feet and carpet spikes, providing secure positioning on a variety of floor surfaces. The carefully balanced construction enhances stability while helping maintain consistent acoustic performance.
Perfectly Matched with Ruark Music Consoles
The Talisman-R pairs beautifully with Ruark's R710 High Fidelity Music Console, creating a complete Hi-Fi system that combines powerful amplification, advanced streaming and exceptional loudspeaker performance. It is also an excellent match for the Ruark R610 Music Console or other high-quality Hi-Fi amplifiers, offering outstanding versatility for both new and existing audio systems.
Audio & Video Installation
Listen to the music you love anywhere in your home, inside or out. Simple, easy to use solutions designed to sound beautifully!
