Armodynamic® Drivers with ZYLON®
Developed specifically for the YH-C3000, the Armodynamic® driver uses a unique three-layer diaphragm incorporating paper, resin and ZYLON®. Its carefully balanced combination of lightweight construction, rigidity and internal damping delivers exceptionally smooth sound, high resolution and fast response.
Advanced Driver Technology
The newly developed driver unit features optimised rear ventilation and a patented Y-shaped reinforced mesh damper to provide exceptional clarity with minimal distortion while maintaining powerful low-frequency performance. A pure iron pole piece further enhances response speed and dynamic impact.
Handcrafted Beech Wood Housings
Premium beech wood, also used in Yamaha grand pianos, provides a lightweight and rigid enclosure with naturally resonant, uncoloured characteristics. Each housing is carefully shaped, sanded, painted and polished to create a beautiful semi-transparent black mirrored finish that allows the natural wood grain to remain visible.
Exceptional Japanese Craftsmanship
The YH-C3000 is hand-assembled at Yamaha’s Kakegawa factory in Japan, where flagship grand pianos and premium audio components are produced. Skilled craftspeople assemble and finish each headphone under strict quality control to ensure exceptional precision and lasting quality.
Designed for Long Listening Sessions
At just 330g, the YH-C3000 combines a lightweight closed-back design with a two-layer headband, optimised lateral pressure and a smooth stepless adjustment system. An inclined swivel mechanism helps the earcups sit naturally around the ears for a secure and comfortable fit.
Premium Ear Pads
Specially developed ear pads combine soft silk protein leather with memory foam for excellent comfort, sealing and stability. They provide the acoustic isolation required for deep, immersive listening while remaining comfortable during extended sessions.
