Pick One: Doyle Bramhall II, Norah Jones

‘Searching For Love’ features a guest vocal appearance from 9-time Grammy Award Winner Norah Jones. The album comes hot on the heels of Bramhall’s 2016 critically acclaimed fourth record, Rich Man, his first solo album in 15 years.

Pick Two: Warm Sound – Zero 7, Mozez

Living up to its name we think this sounds like what Dave Matthews hears in his head at all times….

Pick Three: Fool – Zanski

Toronto-based musician Tom Probizanski (a.k.a. Zanski) has an incredibly distinct style. The definition of a genre bending artist, he mixes electronic R&B with melodic guitars and striking vocals to create a unique, infectious sound.

Pick Four: Desireless – Eagle-Eye Cherry

From that band you might remember that did “Save Tonight”. Whilst we are as suprised as you to see this band in our list,
hear us out…. They must have been getting teased too much for playing four chord songs. This is NOT that.

Pick Five: Wild Blue – John Mayer

The latest from the Singer-Songwriter turned smooth Blues player. We think this great tune is stealing a bit of
guitar tone from Mark Knopfler which is a bit weird for John (Who sounds like Stevie Ray Vaughn normally- but cleaner) but we
aren’t complaining!!

Pick Six: A Reason To Fight – Disturbed

Again, we are as surprised as you to see this in here… A slow jam from har hitting heavy rockheads Disturbed.

Pick Seven: As The Years Go Passing By – David Bromberg

A customer of ours came in this week and brought a David Bromberg record to be cleaned (A service we do offer for $5 with a Mofi Antistatic sleeve included).
We listened to this beautiful track with him and agreed that some records really warrant that extra care a professional clean provides.

Pick Eight: Hedonism (Just Because You Feel Good) – Skunk Anansie

A great throwback to the 90s British rock band Skunk Anansie which fell through the cracks of a lot of listeners in the 90s.
We wanna make sure you pick it up as we rate it!

Pick Nine: Kyrie Eleison – The Fuzzy Robes

Christchurch Alternative band The Fuzzy Robes burst onto the scene last year with this epic single. It has
some real sonic brilliance.

Pick Ten: Fisherman – Saint Peter’s Thursday

Heavy Rockers based in Christchurch released the best riff to come out of the city since Turnaround by Ahoribuzz.
These lads are doing the City proud.
